Why Bestii?

Hi, we’re Anet and Michaela — best friends for over 14 years (like, in real life… not just online). That’s where the name Bestii comes from. This business exists only because of our friendship.

We’re both super passionate about nature, health, and feeling good in our bodies. When we work together, ideas just flow. Creating products we’re proud of comes naturally because it’s built on trust, real conversations, and a lot of laughs.

Plus, being each other’s boss is the best. (She approves my vacation way faster than HR ever would.)

Friends first, founders second!

How It All Started

Back in 2020, when the world felt uncertain and we were far from family here in Canada, the fear of facing a global pandemic alone was overwhelming. We wondered—if we got sick, who would help us? To take care of ourselves, we started exploring simple ways to improve our health and support our immunity. We started to work out every day, changed our diet, and bought a used juicer to make immune-boosting blends with ginger, lemon, and turmeric.

What started as a way to protect each other soon grew into something bigger. We shared our little “potions” with friends we wanted to keep safe too, and their encouragement inspired us to share them with even more people. From a few bottles on Marketplace to farmers’ markets and now our own website, this journey has always been about care, connection, and supporting one another through uncertain times.

That’s how Bestii was born—not to build a business, but to share something real, healthy, and simple.

– She’ll read your message… and 100% forget to reply. – Say the word hike and she’s already laced up and halfway out the door. – She can fall asleep literally anywhere (planes, cars, standing… you name it :)

Anet

She’s the first to admit her mouth sometimes runs faster than her brain — apologies in advance. She can spend hours organizing things that look exactly the same (don’t worry, she promises it’s progress). A true nature lover at heart, just add a sauna and a cold plunge, and she’ll call it heaven.
